ATAPUERCA

Today we will talk about The Sierra de Atapuerca, which was declared Area of Natural Interest, a Cultural and Heritage thanks to archaeological findings and paleontological there inside, among which fossils, at least four different hominid species: Homo sp. Sima del Elefante, Homo antecessor, Homo heidelbergensis and Homo sapiens.

The mining railway went through one of the caves destroying fossil hominid. Found the most primitive stone tools, at the base of the Gran Dolina (dated about 900,000 years ago) and soon after, several skulls were found in the Sima de los Huesos, including the famous skull number 5, dubbed Miguelón in honor of Miguel Indurain, giving international and scientific relevance to the site making it indispensable in studies of human evolution.

Shortly after would leave a rich record of tools along with human remains, all dated to 800,000 years confirming an ancient human presence in Europe. The following year confirmed, by studying the marks on the bones, a ritual cannibalism was practiced; this is the reference to Europe's oldest cannibalism. The excavations of the Sima del Elefante start. later became the site of great importance since a new human species, Homo antecessor is defined.

This is confirmed by the finding of a biface unused tool and conducted a prized material, called Excalibur, deposited as a tribute to a group member buried there.

This skull is the skull number 5 of the Sima de los Huesos, as it appeared in the 1992 campaign, in later campaigns jaw was exhumed.

LESULA

¿Monkey right? then I will tell her story.
At the heart of the African rain forest, in a region little explored in the Republic of Congo, scientists have found a hitherto unknown monkeys. This is a new species of primate that have called Lesula, but refer to it respecting the popular name, Lesula.

Scientists first saw a Lesula captive in the house of a master of the city of Opala, back in June 2007
His hair is gray to brown pink, black on the legs and distinctive stripes amber.

"The Lesula is shy and was the primate was observed less frequently among all registered campaigns recognition." They have also recorded their sounds, low-pitched vocalizations emitted especially first thing in the morning.
Genetic analysis of Lesula made, along with morphological, unequivocally demonstrate that it is a new species different from its closest relative, the C.hamlyni. The late discovery for science does not prevent the risk of extinction.

THE BIGGEST CAVE WORLD

You'll never guess which is the world's largest cave. Hang Son Doong is located in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in the province of AVÁNG BINH in VIETNAM.
It was discovered in April 2009. It is a 6.5 km long cave with a preliminary width of 150m.
Has the largest room that is more than 5km in length 200m high and 150 wide.

Now I will tell you how to get. First, to get to the cave takes 6 hour tour of the jungle, after lowered into a large chamber, it is necessary to cross two underground rivers to reach the main passage HANG FILS Doong.

The cave is part of a network of some 150 caves in the mountains animists.
You know what this is !!! the cave contains dry pools on the terrace near the garden EBAM in HANG FILS Doong, with an outstanding collection of stone spheres formed drip.

ANIMAL GREATEST STORY

When thinking of the largest animal in history think whales. But that's not true at all. Because if it is true that the largest animal in history is to move water and feed, but are not whales.
What will? Will it be a shark? NOOO will it be a marine dinosaur? NOOO
it Leedsichthys

And ye imagine it was, but just in case I will tell myself. It was a giant fish. He lived in the Middle Jurassic period of the Mesozoic era.
Never measure accurately known. The old estimates gave 18-30 m long, but other later suggest growing between 16-22 m placing and larger fish that have swum the seas. Recent studies estimate its size in only 9 m long.
It is believed that only feed on plankton
